Our Team.

Gwilym started in the Financial Planning profession in 2010 and has since gained Chartered Financial Planner status demonstrating that he is at the forefront of the profession, while also serving as a mark of trust for current and prospective clients. In 2018 he was made a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and in 2023 became Managing Director of Ascent Financial Planning.​

Gwilym guides clients towards their financial goals with a friendly, down-to-earth approach. He builds long-term relationships, ensuring personalised financial plans that adapt to life's changes. His passion lies in helping clients live their best lives.

Gwilym lives with his wife Del, three children; Jack, Oliver and Sophie and Labrador Nala. He enjoys staying active and the great outdoors. When not supporting his children in their hobbies he has recently taken to playing cricket again for his hometown of Abergele.
